Possibly the funniest thing that I ever heard was when one of my friends equated the taste of this beer to Olde English. I refuted him immediately and took the beer from his hands and greedily drank it. Lovely hoppy beer that tastes like an IPA should always taste. Complex, but accesible and so on. Readily available all over Philly, lucky us!

Tap at Sunset Grill - almost hazy golden color, with a very frothy head for the style - loads of fresh, spicy hops in the nose, some floral qualities, and only a faint pilsner malt aroma - light honey sweetness up front - the taste is very similar to the Prima, but with a more hefty hop bill - crisp, spicy, almost peppery, with some mild citrus sweetness, and a wildflower (heather) character to it - complex, but clean and crisp - very nice.

Pours a bright to dark amber into a Weizen. Head quickly recedes to nothing. Spicy clove, wheat and malt aromas. Fizzy and malty with a lasting lemon wheat finish.

Bottle: Rich black pour with a small brown head and a little lacing. Aroma is a nice hops with roasty malt. Tastes like an imperial stout should taste like! Rich roasted malts, coffee, smoky tones, bittersweet chocolate, and hop notes. Simply put, delicious.

Bottle: Pours a light golden color with a nice white head and great lacing. Aroma is a mild doughiness with some hops and malt. Taste is a clean breadlike maltiness with some hop tones, citrus, grass, and perhaps a bit of grain. Nice clean finish, one of the best pilseners I’ve tried to date.

Bottle: Dark amber pour with a large white head and good lacing. Aroma is pure hops, backed up by a solid hops taste. Pine, citrus, and floral hops dominate the taste. Surprisingly smooth finish leaves a clean and crisp taste that crys out for another sip...

12oz Bottle Pours out a dark amber topped with a off white head. Aroma of light hops and caramel. A nice little hop on this but not as hoppy as I was thinking it was going to be. thanks Pinkzambia for giving me a bottle.

A little darker than yer typical pale yellow american beer. No haze, transparent. Less than average carbonation. Slight bitter hops on the flavor and in the finish, probably not to style. Smooth, as advertised. Moonglow is better.
