This ale pours a really nice dark orange colour with a nice foamy light tan head. To the nose, lots of orange citrus. A little caramel with a hint of bread dough. First taste was smooth with flavours of caramel and a floral flavour. A bitter/sweet finish. Palate is bitter and slightly oily.

Poured a murky brownish orange from the bottle with a frothy, lacing slightly tan head. Malty aroma, but also spicy. Yeasty and grainy flavor, slightly malty. Astringent afer taste in which the alcohol is obvious. This beer might be better if the alcohol was mellowed.

(Bottle 75 cl) Courtesy of xproudfoot. Slightly hazy amber golden with an off-white head. Aroma of fruit and alcohol. Very full-bodied with notes of caramel, yeast and fruit. Very alcoholic finish - way too much. Almost a bit Tripel-like. 201006

I am surprised to see this one is an APA. Sampled on draft at Rivertowne Inn in North Huntingdon PA this beer poured a bright bronze color with a small yellow-white head. The aroma is crisp floral hops. The body is a bit thin and watery. The flavor is moderately strong bitter and floral hops with tangy sour malts and a bitter finish.

Fluffy foam...cloudy mango-like color...foam dissipates quickly...unbalanced mouthfeel, yet so intriguing...I keep sipping and sipping trying to get it...getting the zest, however what sort of zest is this? A muddled pineapple nose...pineapple upsidown cake that is...a sour finish

Black with thick head. Roast malt and hops and toffee. Taste of chocolate and coffee, malt and toffee like a cafe con chocolatl almost. Alcohol warmth with a hoppy finish. Fine on a cold rainy day. Actually fine any time. Of course sip this. This is the first beer I’ve re-rated

12oz bottle. Darkest of dark colors with brown-mocha head. Chocolate and coffee aroma with a hint of alcohol. Rich deep roasted and chocolate malt flavor that goes along with coffee and sweet molasses. Excellent mix of flavors. Almost no sense of the ABV.
