Bright light orange in color, with zero head - overly sweet, syrupy, almost medicinal aroma - moderately sweet, honey-like flavor, tempered by a tiny bit of hop bitterness and a tea-like herbal character - way out of balance, and almost artificial-tasting - I swear I taste uncalled for aduncts in this beer - the swetness and alcohol burn make it remind me almost of malt liquor - not completely terrible, but the appearance and aroma really put the nail in the coffin.

Bottle at Kookfest 2006. Pale gold with some sediment in suspension. Carbonated bubbly head. Some banana esters, bit farty maybe. Some lemony fruit in mouth. OK, but I expected better.

Re-rated on tap at the Legend Fest: Clear light brown body with a thin off-white head. Sweet caramel aroma. Sweet dark malt and caramel flavor. Original Rating: Aroma had some cheesy hints, and the flavor was dominated by a powdered cheese flavor, very much like that in a box of mac and cheese. Possibly some sort of infection, but i’ve yet to experience a cheesy infection. 5/3/5/3/9

(Bottle 35,5 cl) Pours an almost clear, pilsener golden with a small, off-white head. Sweetish aroma of malt and fruit with yeasty notes and a very present alcohol. A rather full body with spices and malt and then this rather pushy alcohol. Courtesy of xproudfoot. 080906

(Bottle 35,5 cl) Clear, dark amber with an off-white head. Rich aromas with lots of banana, yeast and alcohol - also some almost vinous touches. Fairly solid body with lots of fruit - banana in particular - and a rich, alcoholic finish. Lovely. 290806

Poured a copper colored orange with a quickly fading white head. Hoppy, citrus, piney aroma. Initial flavor is fruity, sweet, orange citrus and grapefruit. Hoppy, spicy, full flavor. Slightly astringent finish.

A hazy orange beer with an orange head. The aroma is sweet orangy, combined with light notes of wheat and alcohol. The flavor is sweet malty with lots of caramel as well as light notes of wheat, that gives it a dry end, but it also has light spicy notes. The alcohol, that sets in from the middle gives the warmth.

Sample at AleFest Dayton: Clear yellow-gold color with a medium and foamy white head with pretty good retention. Pleasant aroma of wheat, spice and banana. Light-bodied and effervescent with a sweet character of fruit and wheat. Clove and citrus flavors are evident as well. The finish is short and spicy. Overally this is pretty well done.
