Rose-wine-like appearance with minimal off-white head; aroma of raspberry, citric and acetic acidy, as well as earthy notes; taste of lemony sourness, unripe raspberry, some earthy and yeasty notes; good one, though it is for sure not a tripel

From Beer Drop, best by May 5th 2026.

Pours a mostly clear gold with over 2 fingers of foam. Retention and lacing are excellent.

Smell is sour raspberry, other berries, slight hint of funk, lemon, much tartness going on.

Taste is tart raspberries, some ascetic acid, lemon, other fruity berries, very tart overall, not much sign of the ample alcohol.

Medium bodied, I would drink this again.

Old rating from 12-01-15 - 355ml bottle brought back by my wife from the States. Poured at home in Jersey. It's light red in colour with a foamy white head. Aromas & tastes of caramel, vanilla, strawberry, honey, orange peel, pine, toffee & malt. Medium body. Medium fruity bitter finish. Outstanding old school IPA

Can from Total Wine in Vacaville, CA. Pours gold with a huge foamy white head that laced. Peach for aroma. Med body or nearly. It's fruity, but rather dry and has a lot of both peach and lemon.

Pour is a hazy orange with a large white head. Aroma is grapefruit rind. Flavor is more piney and grapefruit hops with a decent bitterness on the back end. This is old school IPA. Grapefruit and hello bitterness.
