Description
Beer For People Who Love To Ride Dinosaurs!

From the moment they started they knew they weren’t cool. They didn’t have beards and attempts at growing them were simply humiliating and a little embarrassing for them and their families. So they set aside their rose scented facial wax and tiny combs and focused on what they knew best… brewing quality beer (and dinosaur puns)!

Hatched in 2015 by three clean shaven friends with an obsession for beer and dinosaurs, Staggeringly Good have quickly become known as one of the UK’s leading breweries ranking consistently in the TOP 20 in the country on Untappd.’

Yes it’s all got a little out of control since we first uttered the sentence ‘Hey shall we get together on Sunday and brew some beer?’. Now there are grown up things like bills and stuff, but don’t worry we’re not going to let that get in the way of us having a grain sack load of fun. Catch you at the tap room soon dino-riders!

Hazy orange gold with a bubbly white head and a grassy, hoppy nose. Pretty fizzy, citrus kick up front, soft light malt to follow and a dry bitter finish

Cask @ Tap and Can. Hazed golden yellow appearance, good white head. Confusingly not brewed with BRU-1. BRU is afrikaan slang. Very full bodied, smooth and exotic for cask.. NE vibes. Nicely exotic, pulpy overripe stonefruit. Good stuff.

Cask @ Tap and Can. Pours a hazed yellow, small white head. Pithy mandarin action to taste, can't detect much in the way of lime, some pleasant citrussy elements, brittle bitterness. Ok.

Cask @ Tap and Can. Pours pitch black, small tan head. Big aroma of coffee. Bucket loads of coffee to taste, prominent bitter espresso roast, slick mouthfeel.. good breakfast stout overall.

Keg @ Tap and Can. Misty gold appearance, small white head. Decent straight up IPA with gentle fruity hop shades, good bitterness, marmalade, grapefruit.. not hugely characterful but fine overall.

Keg @ Tap and Can. Pours a vivid crayon red, no head. Brings to mind an artificial strawberry ice pop from back in days of yore. Same shade of red too. Some lime shades, but a bit artificial and cheap tasting.

Keg @ Tap and Can. Misty gold appearance, small white head. Ok.. not the NE haze I expected.. prominent bitter tones, grapefruit, lemon and lime.. floral elements.. very far from a NE IPA. Not bad overall, but marked down for not being as pumpclip stated.

[December 2023] Clear mahogany brown with a frothy off-white head and a leafy, slightly nutty aroma. Light bodied, on the watery side, with sweet malt, some caramel/toffee and old school floral hop bitterness, finishes pretty dry

Has the look of murky pondwater to be honest, hints of pink and brown coming through, no noticeable head. Raspberries, strawberries and cream on the nose. Fresh and zingy, creamy smooth with pineapple sharpness, tart berry fruit and a dry finish
