Bottle @ home, thanks to jcnielsen for sending. Pours a reddish orange appearance with a brown head. Light nuttiness, caramel, vanilla, toasted malt in the nose. Medium body. Quite malty though not overly sweet. A touch of acidity. A little chocolate, brown sugar, and some nuttiness. Pretty fine but nothing special.

7 week old can into a stemless wine glass. Revisiting this as it has been changed for the better. A: Crystal clear light gold with a short, fast-falling white head. Spotty lace. S: Crackers, grass and light caramel. T: Cracker/sourdough bread notes joined by a grassy or herbal hop bite that lingers. Biscuit, caramel and soft floral hop notes as it warms. M: Light as expected at 4.8%. Crisply carbonated and refreshing. O: Light, refreshing and fairly tasty with much improved malts. Not usually cheap but worth a try for pils fans.

Sample at Bad Parenting Club (plus a few dirty aunt/uncles?!): NC Beer Edition on 03/28/2015. Pours a hazy cola color with a medium beige head that recedes steadily. Spotty lacing. Aroma of roast malt, caramel and fruit. Light-bodied with flavors of caramel malt, earthy hops and fruit. The finish is sweet with a short malty aftertaste. Decent overall.

2013 Bottle from brentk56 - thanks!. Pours opaque black, medium deep brown head, creamy and slow to dissipate with nice lacing behind. Aroma is tart(!), oak, bourbon, roast, cocoa. Flavor is very light tart, medium sweet, light bitter, a bit acetic. roasty, cococa. Medium body, creamy mouthfeel. Still a solid beer, but it seems like a weak infection going on.

Second thing I've tried from Mother Earth. I enjoyed this significantly more than I did their Kolsch. This is a solid Porter.
