473ml can. (6.0% ABV) Pours a hazy copper with a small, short lived, beige head that dissipates to an outer ring which laces. Sweet aroma of roasted malt, caramel, dark fruit and bread. Sweet flavour of caramel malt, toffee, roast, biscuit and a hint of smoke in a mildly bitter finish. Medium body with a smooth, oily texture and soft carbonation. Not bad.

Clear golden and lightly coloured copper body with a thinnish white head and no cloudy or haziness at all. Aroma of coriander seed, light oranges, some spices and a bit of malt/wheat noticeable - not much else though. Light-bodied; Strong curacao and orange flavours at the front end with a bit of grass and dry malt and a touch of sweetness on the finish. Aftertaste shows some dry grass and herbs with a little sweetness and a lot of coriander seed and curacao throughout. Overall, a nice and refreshing beer with some good white characteristics, but about average for the style - however, to get this in Montana regularly, not a bad beer. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased by my coworker on 27-October-2015 from Great Falls, Montana, sampled at home in Washington after a few hours after returning from Great Falls on 23-June-2016 - Thanks Randy!

Rich deep dark brown coloured body with a thick, three centimetre tall pure brown head. Aroma of rich chocolate, roasted malt, lactose, cream and a good dose of caramel and nuts - strong! Medium-bodied; Assertive nutty flavour of hazlenuts, earth, milk, cream, lactose and even some dry grain noticeable. Aftertaste shows some depth with the caramel and sweetness alongside the bitter nutty and malt flavours - not much aside from that, however. Overall, a good porter and one that shows the roasted malt and earthiness expected from the style, but lacks a touch in complexity and depth. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from my coworker, Randy, on 27-October-2015 for US$9,99/six pack from a grocery Store in Great Falls, Montana sampled at home in [the real] Washington on 24-April-2016.

12oz bottle. Another shabby offering from Harvest Moon. Sweet, thin, suspect. A pretty weak brown ale. Cheap ingredients. Insipid brewing. I really don’t want to finish a bottle of this.

Not pitch black liquid sitting under a small tannish head of foam.

The nose reveals notes of roasted malt and chocolate. One other thing there; either hints of fruit or something that the hops are creating.

Roasted malt, chocolate, a fruity presence from the hops, a wee bit of coffee. There’s a month and year on the label for notching but I don’t see where it’s been marked.

Full flavoured for sure but it is a bit thin on the palate.

Easy drinking Porter because it’s smooth and packs a nice taste profile. Thanks Jay for the chance to try it!

Deep brown coloured body with a bit of a copper glow at the bottom, and a nice three centimetre tall tan head atop the beer. Aroma of nuts, earth, caramel, toffee, hazlenuts, almonds and a good dose of malt - nice smelling, very sweet. Medium-bodied; Super assertive nuttiness with cashews, almonds, grain, earth and especially hazlenuts throughout the flavour with a decidedly sweet and earth finish. Aftertaste shows some earth, but more caramel, toffee and especially nuts than anything else - quite potent, but in a good way. Overall, a beer that’s pretty good for the style, even though it’s a style i’m not crazy about - the nuts here are crazy, along with the earthiness and the sweetness from caramel at the end.
