12 oz can brought back from Bozeman. Medium golden, what little bit of head it had disappears quickly. Grainy, malty aroma, bread.Taste adds some fruity notes, citrus and a small bitte bite. Easy drinker, goes down like a champ.

16oz can. Pretty harsh aroma...stale 70s basement, rotten caramel, spoiled raisin..actually improves a pinch as it breaths some. Cheap, odd mouthfeel. Most of the Harvest Moon beers I've had have been bad, and this is no exception. Sweet and gross, really poor quality stuff. Not sure why they would make this. Avoid unless you really want a tick...but there is no way a 16oz serving of this is desirable.

Bottle. Dark pour. Aroma has chocolate, licorice, mocha coffee and caramel. Taste of licorice, bitter filter coffee, chocolate, tart, dusty malt and caramel. Tastes like there is something wrong with it. Meh.

Pours brown from the bottle. The head is tan and creamy. Aroma is chocolate, toast, a bit smokey. The roasted character comes nicely across. Taste iis sweet up front, trending bittersweet at the finish. Body stays fairly light for the style, even watery at times, and fails to completely hide the relatively modest alcohol. Drinkable, but not memorable.

Pours dark brown from the bottle and leaves a white, frothy head. Aroma is very nutty and has a touch of butterscotch. Taste is sweet, nutty. The sweetness trends toward bubblegum, and there is a hint of spice. Feels like three quarters brown ale and one quarter Belgian Ale. Finish is bittersweet with strong roasted flavors. Very nice.
