Description
Red Rock is a family run brewery based on a farm in South Devon, South West England. Since 2006, we’ve been making our extensive range of award winning and quality real ales and beers using the finest natural ingredients and our very own pure spring water. Each of our Devon beers has its own individual flavour and we take great pride in our artisan approach to producing them.

bottle from Sidmouth Wines. Hazy golden yellow, tiny white head. Fruity nose. Shy malty sweet flavours, hints of rotten fruit and some shy bitterness in the finish. Not even close to a Pilsner.

On cask at the Albert Inn, Totnes, Devon. Appearance - golden with a thin head. Nose - cereal and slight orange. Taste - more of the same. Palate - light to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a long dry finish. Overall - a good example of the style.

On keg at the Cove, Outer Cove. Appearance - golden with a decent head. Nose - citrus and spice notes. Light caramel detected which is unexpected. Taste - dry herbs and spices. Lemon finish. Palate - light bodied with a dry tight texture and a long dry finish. Overall - good example of the style.

On cask at the Cove, Outer Cove. Appearance - amber with a proportionate head. Nose - light toffee and cereal. Strawberry jam. A bit jammy dodgers. Taste - more jammy dodgers. Tangy red fruits and cereal. Palate - light to medium bodied with a crunchy texture and a dry crunchy finish. Overall - a decent bitter.

Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, toffee. Flavour is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration, toffee, caramel, dusty malt.
