In bocca è bilanciatissima, dolce all’attacco con finale amaro deciso ma non eccessivo. Corpo medio, carbonazione media. Ottima!

Bottle shared by Mirko @Bir&Fud Bottega (Rome). Giallo chiaro, torbida, schiuma leggerissima poco persistente. Al naso sentori di malto, note vinose e citriche, lattico, leggera speziatura. In bocca è dolciastra all’attacco con finale salato e acidulo, molto particolare. Corpo medio, carbonazione media. Niente male davvero!

At La Tana in Brussels. Medium thick, greyish white, stable, cobweb-lacing head, hazy chestnut brown robe with bronze-ish tinge. Aroma of hazelnut, elderberry, leather, butterscotch, dry earth, pear, hint of iron and a subtle layer of peat. Fruity, estery onset, dried berries, pear, vague banana somewhere, caramelly and bit nutty malt core becoming somewhat toasted as is to be expected from a Scotch, fluffy and filling, bittering finish, quite clean with the smoky and peaty touch returning, earthy and peppery hop bitterishness and warming alcohol. Interesting and more than decent.
