Tap at Birrone Bassano. Mahogany color, clear, short offwhite head. Flavors of light peat, caramel, chestnut flour, wood. Some herbal notes for a mild bitter end, otherwise sugary. Light flavor not overpowering, hidden abv.

Dark brown with a thin but nice looking head. Sweet roast nose. Smooth, chocolate malt with a smooth earthy hop finish.

Bottle with the Ratebeer München group, at Jonas's, Garching, Tuesday 26th November 2019. Pours dark chestnut, good clarity with a beige head, soft mouthfeel, nutty, a little sweet liquorice, good.

Black. Aroma is dried figs caramel and melasses. Taste is sweet and sour with some cocoa and complex and cherry. Drinkable. A bit dry. Why not?

Bottle. Rather clear brown color with beige head. Aroma is chocolate, earthy, herbal, some grains. Taste is chocolate, earthy, bready. Silky mouthfeel with medium carbonation. Good!
