500ml bottle bought at Ship in a Bottle, Liverpool earlier this year. Patchy layer leaving firm lacing behind. Crystal clear amber-gold body. Leafy hops and caramel on the nose. Malt-fruity flavours followed by a bittersweet tail. A typical, good, Brit bitter brew. Fine bodied for the low abv. Nice (shared with Finn, Tromsø 27.10.2015)

Cask half-pint, hand pulled in The Bridge End Inn, Ruabon, Wales on 22nd Sep 2015. The wife took to this and had a further two halves after sipping a little of mine. Light amber with a white head. Tropical fruitiness in both the aroma and taste, non-sour citrus notes throughout (Oranges, etc), no lemon or lime bitterness either. Easy drinking brew all round.

Cask @ The Excelsior, Liverpool. Copper-red, but more of the former, with a thin head. Quite sweet with berry fruit in its slightly sugary nose, with the same but less stated in its taste.

Cask @ Excelsior, Liverpool. Slightly deeper, clear golden ale with a small head. Mainly a fusion of hops and fruit with both evident, but neither dominant. It’s a fuller bodied ale.

Cask @ Excelsior, Liverpool. Golden with a creamy head. Has plenty of grapefruit notes throughout, although they are not too sour and the citrus value is fairly low too, making it a very palatable and easy drinking ale with plenty of flavour.

Cask @ Cocked Hat, Stockport [040417]
Golden, clear, dense white head
Aroma of soft lemon citrus, slight eggy but ok
Taste of soft citrus, peppery hops, light soft floral notes, light pale malt, quite complex for such low abv
Palate - Light body, bit oily, nice peppery bitter hop, refreshing. Finish is a bit dry, more peppery, soft zest, very good palate
Overall - Nice, better this time
Cask @ The Old Harkers, Chester [270115] 6/3/6/3/12 3.0
Blonde, clear, thin dense white head, good lacing
Aroma of soft citrus, dab of lemon, light malt
Taste of soft citrus zest, some lemon rind, light pale malt, easy going
Palate - Light body, soft sweet, clean. Finish a tad dry and more bitter.
Overall - Clean easy light session blonde. Perhaps a bit light for me but well made.
