Can to becher glass.
Appearance: dark orange to almost amber color with a three finger to rocky foamy off-white head which dissipated at a nice pace at left a little bit of lace
Aroma: floral to orangey hop tones with mixed citrusy rind-like semi-sweet tones with a light piney bitterness; caramel malts with a touch of soap
Flavor: combines the prior noted aromas to a semi-bitter to slightly sweet sort of quality; finishes about the same with a note of orange rind and caramel malts
Texture: light to medium bodied; sessionable; light smoothness; nice enough carb level
Overall: I thought I heard they said this is supposed to be a NEIPA and if so this didn't meet those standards but if they got out that "soap" scent I noticed I bet this might be a lot better of an IPA in general.

On tap at Vermont Tap House, Rutland, VT on 05/18/2022
Appearance: orangey to copper color with a finger's worth of white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: orangey to lemony to subtle grapefruity tones with a touch of sweet malts underneath
Flavor: combines the prior noted aromas to a fine sweet quality underscored by a light bittering character; finishes combined as a bittersweet tone with subtle drying effect
Texture: light to medium bodied; sessionable; good smoothness with not much distracting; good carb level
Overall: not bad IPA. I think I could come back to.

On tap at McGillicuddy's, Essex Junction, VT 05/22/2022
Appearance: murky orange semi-bright color with a bar pour's kind of slim white head which dissipated nicely but barely left much lace
Aroma: sweet apricot fleshy notes, sweet lemony undertones; woody spices and hay/straw notes
Flavor: combines the prior noted aromas mainly to a sweet quality with barely a spice note but it came in really subtle before this beer finished with a little bit of apricot sweetness
Texture: light to medium bodied; sessionable; some smoothness with a light tickle of woody spice assertiveness; good carb level
Overall: not bad - but somewhat seemed like a fruit beer with some spices thrown in? Hmmm...was it? Hmmm...I don't know enough.

Can to becher glass.
Appearance: pours black and stays black in the the glass with a three finger off-white to eggshell white foamy head which settled off at a nice pace and left a little bit of lace
Aroma: piney to orange peel and some mixed citrusy hop bitterness with some dark chocolate to cocoa powder-like tones; black coffee coming out with more warmth
Flavor: meshes the prior noted aromas to a sweet to bitter and slightly roasty character; finishes bitter with some roastiness
Texture: medium bodied; leaning towards being a sipper-ish; some smoothness - slightly in a dry sort of way but non-distracting; good carb level
Overall: seems like it's on it's way a bit even though I didn't find very strong "palate wrecking capabilities" - but not the weakest links in the "black IPA" realm.

Can to tulip.
Appearance: glossy burnt orange dark haziness with a two finger white foamy head which dissipated nicely and left some light lace
Aroma: mixed citrusy to floral hoppiness with a light sugary malt tone sliding in for a sly balance
Flavor: meshes the prior noted aromas to a slight bitter to bittersweet balance; finishes somewhat the same way in a dry sort of manner
Texture: light to medium bodied, some sessionability; some smoothness with a light prickly carbonation but not too bothersome; low hop bitterness assertiveness
Overall: not a bad attempt at the NEIPA style maybe not up there with the best but certainly not the worst.

Can to tulip.
Appearance: hazy burnt orange color with a finger and a half's worth of white foamy head which dissipated at a nice pace to leave some light lace
Aroma: citrusy and piney hops up front with a semi-muted orangey hoppy tone in the middle and some bready malts
Flavor: meshes the prior noted aromas to a bitter to bittersweet quality; finishes somewhat stiff leaning into some bitter tones
Texture: medium bodied; leaning into a sipper; light smoothness but some bitterness of the hops getting slightly assertive
Overall: well, it's not the worst effort of a NEDIPA...maybe again, maybe...

Can to snifter.
Appearance: a full on super thick bright cloudy yellow haziness and a two finger white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: sweet danky oniony to a beautiful full citrus rind bittersweet hoppiness;, light grapefruit and mango hop notes, barely any noticeable malts
Flavor: such a great blend of bitter to sweet and danky tones of the prior noted aromas; finishes danky sweet and citrusy bittersweet and so well done
Texture: full bodied, this is a sipper; great smoothness but also a light hop burn but I've experienced worse, great low carb
Overall: who are you and what have you done with Rock Art? Did they have help from an unknown source with this beer? Just so different. I would very much love to have this again.

Can to becher glass.
Appearance: glossy yellow clear color with a swiftly dissipating foamy head, it didn't fizz like a lot of "quickly dissipating heads" - the head just didn't really want to stick around and obviously there wasn't any lace
Aroma: sweet clean biscuity malts with some wet grains and a pinch of the lime
Flavor: pretty much the same as the aroma in a citrusy sweet and slight malty toned quality; finishes leaning into the malty tones and the lime is more of a pinch again
Texture: light bodied; sessionable; good carb level and good smoothness
Overall: nice enough Mexican lager that I would be willing to have again and might be a good grill side beer too.

Can to mug.
Appearance: dark brown close to black in color with a three finger khaki foamy head which trickled off at a nice pace to leave some messy lace
Aroma: dark roasted malts; black coffee, slight toasted nuts; milk chocolate and a little bit of dark chocolate
Flavor: meshes the prior noted aromas to a fine sweet to roasty to bittersweet blend; finishes roasty and sweet with a touch of dryness
Texture: light to medium bodied, great sessionability; rounded smoothness with a little bit of roasty grips but mostly just more or less - just noticeable and nothing burdensome
Overall: I say this was a pretty nicely done no frills sort of porter I would return to.

Can to nonic glass.
Appearance: dark brown close to black in color with a finger and a half of tan foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: raspberry sweetness, milk chocolate, some coffee roastiness and a light dark chocolate further down in there
Flavor: melds the prior noted aromas together in a mostly sweet sort of way while pushing back the roasty tones a bit; finishes leaning into the sweet side of the raspberry and chocolate
Texture: light to medium bodied; somewhat sessionable; smooth along the tongue with not much distracting; good carb level
Overall: not a bad dessert stout but part of me was hoping for that ever so slight touch of "tart" from the raspberries but if that's the worst thing then I am pretty sure I could return to this beer.
