Can/Fest. A- Chocolate, whisky. A- Black color, black liquid, minimal head. T- Chocolate, bourbon, mild soy sauce. P- Full body, average texture, average carbonation, balanced finish. O- This was a very nice no frills barrel aged stout. I love this one and feel like Millstream has done some good work lately with barrel aged beers for a middle of the road brewery that I usually pass up.

Can/Fest. A- Whisky, malt, dark fruits. A- Copper color, hazy liquid, off white head. T- Whisky, sweet, caramel, dark fruits. P- Full body, average texture, average carbonation, balanced finish. O- This one was full on the booze factor. Still got the bock underneath but I think it needs a bit less time in the barrel. Overall, quite good.

Can/Fest. A- Fruity, caramel, mild whiskey. A- Gold color, clear liquid, off white head. T- Fruity, gum, mild whisky, grains. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, balanced finish. O- Never had a barrel aged marzen, and honestly it adds a light new touch but the base is too light to really appreciate the entire brew. Pretty dang good nonetheless.

Can/Fest. A- Pecan, corn syrup, chocolate. A- Black color, black liquid, brown head. T- Cloying, sweet, sugary, chocolate. P- Full body, average texture, average carbonation, very sweet finish. O- This was sickingly sweet and cloying. Like corn syrup. The flavor was good but it's just a sticky sweet mess after more than an oz or so.

Very crisp amber and light copper coloured body with a nice, three to four centimetre tall off-white head that leaves a pretty lace on the side of the glass. Aroma of light nuts, metal and a relatively astringent scent with some alcohol and biscuity malt, but ending with some light caramelised sugars. Light to Medium-bodied; Strong grassy and malty flavours up front with some light nuts, caramel and earthier notes that show some herbal characteristics, a dose of biscuits, but ending with a spicey quality that shows some malts and drier flavours and a hint of caramel and toffee at the end. Aftertaste shows some grass and sweetness from pitted fruits like prunes and apricots with a caramelised sugar and toffee note at the end, but relatively balanced throughout. Overall, a nice and enjoyable beer with a good quality throughout, especially on the sweet side of things. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Hy-Vee in Omaha (Papillion), Nebraska on 07-October-2019 for US$1,99 sampled in my hotel room here in Omaha, Nebraska on 09-October-2019.
