Can. A- Salty, caramel. A- Brown color, dark liquid, off white head. T- Salty, caramel, chocolate. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, sweet finish. O- Loads of sweet salted caramel. A few oz is good but much more would be cloying.

Pour is more of a hazy red with a large white head. Aroma is toasted bready malt with some molasses. Flavor is more toasted bread with some minor sweetness. A little alcohol is felt after the swallow. Ok marzen a little more of a higher abv than the usual marzen but this is still flavorful.

Deep dark brown coloured body with a lighter ruby glow and more of a muddied brown glow. Aroma of light toasted malts with a nutty and relative earthy kick with some chocolate noticeable as well and a lighter yeast and bready scent. Light to Medium-bodied; Strong nutty and earthy grainy malt notes show at first with a light creamy note with some sweetness towards the end and a floral finish. Aftertaste shows some flowers and a grainy, earthy and very nutty finish with some good sweetness and a pretty easy-drinking quality throughout without too much complexity, but some nice flavours. Overall, a decent enough beer with some good nutty malts and a light, crisp sweetness but no real complexity, sort of as expected. Not the worst beer I've had, but of course, not worth trying to find, and I only really had it because it was part of the mixed twelve pack. I sampled this stubby, twelve ounce bottle, as part of 'beer of the month' twelve pack club that my wife got me for Christmas, sampled in my hotel room here in Morgantown, West Virginia on 28-May-2023.

12 oz bottle rich dark brown pour. Lots of fairly sweet chocolate in the aromas and flavors. Smooth and lost of soft toasted malts.

Citrusy. Kind of soft carbonation. More bitter than sweet, not balanced. Yeasty. Drinkable.

Sampled from the tap at Malcolm Yards. Pours a clear deep amber brown with a light brown head that dissipates quickly to the edges. Aroma has earthy dark grains and a good amount of roast with a hint of bitter chocolate underlying. Flavor has earthy roast throughout with a dark backbone and a hint of chocolate.

Can/Fest. A- Whisky, caramel, weak. A- Gold color, slightly hazy liquid, white head. T- Whisky, grains, malty. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, balanced finish. O- This is still definitely a lager, the barrel adds to the abv more than anything else. I would guess rye barrel as I get some rye spice and mild orange and some peychaud bitters. Barrel is all the flavor in this one but not boozy.

Can/Fest. A- Herbal, malt, faint marshmallow. A- Gold color, clear liquid, off white head. T- Marshmallow, mild char, vanilla. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, balanced finish. O- This was loaded with marshmallow and tasted more marshmallow like than any beer I've ever had. Extra points for that. The aroma was medicinal and herbal and a bit strange but the flavor was great.
