Il Birrificio Il Mastio prende il suo nome dalla torre principale del castello medioevale di Urbisaglia, centro storico e culturale della Regione Marche.
Il legame del birrificio al territorio è molto forte e si realizza nell’utilizzo di gran parte delle materie prime di propria produzione coltivando orzo BIOLOGICO nei terreni adiacenti al birrificio.
Tutte le birre prodotte nel nostro birrificio sono crude, non pastorizzate e non filtrate.
Ogni sorso di birra, con il suo gusto ed i suoi profumi, è un viaggio nelle Marche e nelle sue tipicità:

330ml bottle at Monster and Beer, Petaling Jaya, Malaysia. Poured a murky dark amber colour with a mostly lasting frothy white head. The aroma is toffee caramel malt. The flavour is moderate bitter and sweet, with a smooth, somewhat rich, toffee caramel, light herbal, hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation. A decent amber ale. Never an APA!

0,3l from bottle at Fish | Ham, Senigallia. Bb 30.09.2026. yellow hazy color, small white head. smells spices, leathery, citric, bubblegum. Decent to nice smell. full body, soft carbonation. tastes leathery, spices, light coriander, bubblegum, tobacco, earthy, slightly lightstruck. finishes lightly dry and lightly bitter with notes of bubblegum, coriander and peppery notes. Pretty decent one, finish is a bit boring (possibly an issue with freshness)

bottiglia 33 cl, schiuma beige grana grossa evanescente, color ambrato carico torbido, al naso subito legno poi vino Marsala vaniglia cannella chiodi di garofano caramello frutta rossa amarena spezie, in bocca il legno fa da padrone Marsala secco malto cannella frutta rossa vaniglia, corpo medio/leggero, carbonazione piatta, alcool ben bilanciato, lieve astringente e acidula, amaro accentuato, bella secca. All'olfatto si esprimono sentori di sottobosco. La finezza olfattiva è molto elevata e l'esistenza olfattiva è apprezzabile. Il manto birroso superiore resiste poco. La grandezza delle bollicine è medio-fine. Il liquido si presenta nuvoloso. Bollicine fini costituiscono la forma della frizzantezza, con carbonazione persistente. Il colore è ambrato. Il corpo è strutturato. L'amaro è di media potenza. La forza gustativa è molto elevata. La continuità gustativa è lunga e diffusa. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di birra beverina. Il retrogusto è intenso Sulla lingua arrivano sentori di miele, crosta di pane, frutta secca, agrumi, arancia ross, frutta passita, cuoio, vino Porto e vaniglia.
