Handpull cask at the Kings Head, Leicester. Dark brown and translucent with a ring of khaki head. Milk chocolate and almonds in the aroma. Tastes sweet with hazelnut to the fore. Turns bitter midway through the sip, settling into a nice balance for the finish. A gorgeous little cask stout.

Hand-pulled half-pint in The Pilgrim, Liverpool on 29th June 2019. Golden pour, smooth white crown on top. Citrus aroma and flavouring hops rule the roost here, not much more to be said.

28/2/2019. From cask at the 2019 Liverpool Beer Festival, courtesy of Danlo, cheers Ed! Pours dark brown with a bubbly off-white to beige head. Aroma of cocoa, dark chocolate, coffee and slight berries. Medium sweetness, moderate roasted bitterness. Medium body, slight oily texture, soft carbonation. Some lasting bitter dark chocolate to finish. The blueberry develops a little but is quite subtle. Easy drinking, pretty good.
