Pigs Ear. Hazy brown beer, no head. Semi dry palate. Zero carbonation. Mildly spiced malt, cinnamon, cloves. Dry finish. A bit dull but drinkable.

On gravity at the Royal Oak, Bath 25/02/10. Deep brown with next to no head. Sweet fruity aroma, with some nuts and a touch of chocolate. Flavour started sweet, with fruit, something vegetal and a slightly metallic, bitter finish. My least favourite beer at the Royal Oak’s winter festival.

Cask-conditioned at the Bag O’Nails, Bristol 6/12/07. Amber coloured with a decent, lacy white head. Citrus hop aroma with some supporting malt. The flavour was biscuity to start before a long grapefruit hop finish. Excellent.
