Bottle: Poured a deep burgundy color ale with a nice foamy head with average retention. Aroma of sweet malt with dry cranberry. Taste is a nice balance between sweet malt with a nice mix of fruit which may include dried cranberry, orange peel and nice mix of spices. Body is slightly thin with some adequate carbonation. It is my first beer from this brewery but I have to admit that I am quite impressed.

This Ale poured a beatiful black colour with a cramy tan coloured head. Scents include licorice, roasted malt and spice. First taste was very nice. Slightly bitter with good roasted malt flavour. A little balck licorice flavour like in the nose. The palate is burnt flavoured with a slightly bitter lingering.

A reddish amber ale with almost no head, light carbonatation. Aroma of warming alcohol and light sulfites, with berry notes developping upon stirring. In mouth, it does have some redeeming qualities, as this is not totally lifeless, the alcohol brings some interest to the mouth, and there are some interesting licorice developping, but this is very confused, rough, amateurish. Bottle from ProbstK, Oct. 2006.

A clear reddish brown ale with a thin big bubbled white, lifeless. Aroma of wet dog, dog food and yeast extract (for you microbiologists out there). In mouth, another stale offering from Trafalgar, with corpse of cherries, oxidized, devoid of life. Bottle from KProbst, Oct. 2006.

Anhazy blonde weizen with a quickly disipating white head. A citric aroma announces something bad. In mouth, lemon juice strikes right away, hidding any malt present. Another fine infected trafalgar beer. Bottle was less than a month old!!! Thanks Karl....

Brown bottle, 650 ml, best before February 2004; eye: foam that came out of the bottle upon opening it, amber with golden reflections, tan head made up of rather large bubbles, head that lasts, clear, good effervescence, no lacing; nose: caramelized mat, floral hops, apple, alcohol; mouth: malt and wihin a second hops, pepper, sweet finale with a layer of bitterness that mixes with the caramel, creamy and lightly grainy texture, really carbonated, quite sweet, very lightly bitter, full body; overall: heavy, feels like a beer with a much higher alcohol content than the label suggests FRANÇAIS Bouteille brune, 650 ml, meilleure avant février 2004; oeil : mousse qui a jaillit de la bouteille, ambrée avec des reflets dorés, mousse tan formée de bulles assez grosses, mousse qui persiste, claire, bonne effervescence, pas de dentelle; nez : malt caramélisé, houblon floral, pomme, alcool; bouche : malt et dans la seconde qui suit houblon, poivre, finale sucrée avec une petite couche d’amertume qui s’ajoute au caramel, texture crémeuse et légèrement granuleuse, très carbonatée, très sucrée, très légèrement amère, corsée; en résumé : pesante, on dirait une bière contenant beaucoup plus d’alcool que l’étiquette l’indique
