Bottled, thanks jbrus! Deep golden colour, small white head. Aroma is toffee, wheat, some mild spices and yeast. Flavour is caramel, fruits and yeast in a nice balance. Slightly spicy too as it gets warmer.

Huge yellow-brown, dense head over beautiful deep mahogany coloured beer. Sweetish nose, very liqueurish. Spices and cypress blend to a very Ardennes-like brew. Spicy, leafy, root spices flavours. Caramel, burnt & roasted notes, almonds, faint bitterish lining. Good balance. Quite well-bodied, slick, nearly viscous. Not very distinctive finish or aftertaste. Not bad at all. Thank God it is Blauwe, and not Botte Bijl…

From tap. Pours clear and golden deep amber with an almost fully gone head. Sweet strawberry like fruity note. Flavour has even more of this fruity strawberry to marmelade like sweetness. Shows a light malt base and more distinct bitterness into the finish.
