Nitro at Three Fires. Creamy lactic malt aroma. Deep golden with a moderate creamy white head, thick lacing. Biscuity malt with a light grassy hop finish. Medium creamy body, flat carbonation, slightly dry finish. Not bad for a cream ale.

Thanks to GhostFace for this one. Half liter bottle pours deep clear copper with thin off white head. The mild aroma offers up some resiny vague piney hops, a bit of malt and a bit of fruity esters. The taste has a mix of bitter floral hops and some modestly resiny pine hops to midway and then picking up mild levels of earthiness and fruity esters. It stays floral and pine like hop bitterness into the finish and after taste. Kind of bitter, kind of floral, kind of an OK IPA offering.

From a big pounder bottle, way to go hinter on the packaging! Smells a little like candy. Yes the big dull old ipa bitterness just swashing around in your mouth. Looks viscous sitting there with its slow rising bubbles in a syrupy lookin brew. Soapy old rude ipa like yellow brown sprce tar. Alky adds a tad if dulling smoothness to it but it never gets cloying. Long thick bitter finish. Yez, bitter nasty thing, on style I guess.

bottle - Pours pinkish orange with a huge head that required pouring in parts. The aroma is of cherries and a somewhat off smelling wheat and grain. The flavor is sweet with cherries and grain. It has a light, bubbly body. Bland. Okay, but barely. 100th fruit beer rating. Wish it was a better one.

nice big half pound bottle, yea a pint. rather sweet volatile mild cherry floral lace wet hair soapy aroma. orange-ee looking thing hith a healthy head. strong whammy bullshit of a beer, must be near 7%. alky cherry flavor like man batman; tart barely perceivable cherry thing smacking the back of throat. big bottle of punch you in the head, kick you in the teeth thing. widget widget widget; plenty of beer to go round, i really like these big bottles, less than a bomber but certainly more than a serving. interesting display on the head, gives it some bonus points.somewhat cough medicine finish, but not ina bad way. why am i thinking strong ale on this? yeah, the presentation of this saves it from being a below average.

On tap at Owen & Engine. Pours a clear amber with a light brown head that dissipates to the edges and laces slightly. Aroma has a note of grapefruit and pine with a decent amount of vanilla and sweet grain. Flavor has some oaky vanilla up front with a good amount of grapefruit coming out.

So many hinters and this is maple bock. Nice size pounder bottle. Not much on maple flavored beers and the maple is prominent in this brew. A little like an old strong dark lager, fer sure. Has some nice dunkel effects in there and its probably about 6% in abv. A little strong for my liking and the maple flavored backbone makes itself well known. Same with finish. Almost cloying at times in big gulps.

bottle - Pours dark amber-brown with an off white head. It has a toasted caramel malt aroma. The flavor is of rich toasted caramel malt with a solid, bitter balance. It’s medium bodied and finishes with some good bitterness.

Bottle. Pours dark brown with tan head. Nose/taste of maple, sweet malt, mixed nuts, chocolate and caramel. Some water taffy. Finishes clean with a maple roasted malt. Medium body.

Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy gold with a smallish head and aromas of lemons, honey and white pepper. Flavor is... well... I really don’t like this beer. It tastes like a mediocre shandy... sweet and lemony... but then with some buttery and peppery edginess to it. Not my cup of tea. Not how I like saisons, either.
