On tap at the brewpub. Trübes hell goldgelbes Bier mit einer großen stabilen weißen schaumkrone. Geruch ist angenehm nelkig, phenolisch fruchtig. Geschmack nach reifer Banane, leicht phenolisch gering nelkig.

Draft at the source. Pours a hazy light copper color with an off-white head. Aroma of malt, bread, and fruit notes. Taste is malt, caramel, toasty, and lager-like. Can’t decide if this is more like a lager or more like a dunkel. Underwhelming.

Draft at the source. Appearance is cloudy yellow with a white head and moderate lacing. Aroma and taste of light malt, mild fruit, and hints of spice. Easy drinking.

Draft at the source. Color is dark golden orange; overall a much lighter hue than a typical Dunkles. Aroma reminded me more of a pils at times, with some floweriness and with the roasted notes remaining overall very subdued. Some caramel, but also something off, like foul water. Taste is bittersweet. Occassional grainy notes. Overall I had this one much better in my memory since my last visit here over 10 years ago. A disappointment.

Draft at the source. Pours hazy gold with an orange hue. Typical pils malts in the aroma, vague flowery accents. Taste is bittersweet, with overall much less accent on the bitter notes than in a typical pils. Body light to medium. Feels like a Pils mixed with a sweet Bavarian Helles. Refreshing. Okay.

Spritzig hefiger Beginn, der schnell deutliche Bananennoten hervorbringt. Dabei wenig süß, weich, hell. Langsam ausgleitend, im Nachhall dunkel bananig-herb. 11/9/9/9//9

On tap at the brewpub. Leicht trübes dunkel orange goldenes Bier mit einer fingerbreiten weißen schaumkrone. Geruch leicht röstmalzig, Karamell. Geschmack sehr karamellig, röstmalzig, im Abgang würzig und floral hopfig.
