Draught @ Alt-Oberurseler Brauhaus, Alt-Oberurseler Brauhaus, 61440 Oberursel, Hesse, Germany.Unclear light to medium amber colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted - caramel, light roasted, earthy notes. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter with a average duration, malt bitter. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. IMO good beer just a bit common and borring. [20111111]

Muffiger, behäbig getreidiger Antrunk. Laff, etwas Hefe und Herbe. Später etwas hefiger, leider immernoch muffig. In Ordnung. 9/9/9/11//9

Herb-bitterer Antrunk, leichter Hopfen, angenehm. Dann ist die Bitterkeit etwas erdig, was nicht so ganz passt. Dann setzt sich der Hopfen wieder stärker durch. Gut. 12/12/11/11//11

Dezent karamelliger Antrunk, mild, etwas Lehm. Dabei gefällt der karamellige Anteil, das Malz ist sowieso der größte Part des Biere. Es wird mit der Zeit dunkler, deutliche Getreidenoten kommen im hinteren Mittelteil auf. Kurz muffig. Insgesamt gelungenes und malzlastiges Bier. 8/10/11/12//12

Hazy dark amber color; compact head. Nice aroma, smoked malt, mild. The body is lean, the mouthfeel quite dry, but the smoked malt flavor is good, also a bit biscuity; it gets better as it loses some excess of carbonation, but the sweetness is still absent; more roasty character in the final. Well made.

Red-amber color, hazy; generous head, compact. It’s served icy cold. Light aroma of roasted malts. Ordinary body strength, the mouthfeel is not round enough; it has a dry caramel flavor, with some mildly roasted malts; it’s a bit dusty, it shows the alcohol too much, and it would definitively benefit from some sweetness. Average.

Hazy blond color, with compact head. Mild malt aroma. Malt flavor, quite sweet, with correct bitterness, and just a grassy hop touch. Pleasant, although easy.
2010-08-29, draught at the brauhaus, 7-3-7-4-15=36
Cloudy blond color; creamy head. The aroma is light, a bit lemony in the beginning, then some noble hop appears. The mouthfeel is dry, good complement for the fresh and crispy malt; the bitterness is quite strong, and the hopping is well aromatic. Very satisfying; excellent Pilsner.

Cloudy light amber color; creamy head. The aroma is nice, there is some wheat and some banana. The body is lean; the flavor is quite sweet, with some wheat and banana, the spicy side is subdued, and the bitterness is very low. Easy but refreshing Weizen.

(draught at the brewpub) Hazy, deep golden to amber colour with a short but dense foamy white head. Sweet (cara-)malty and slightly yeasty aroma with notes of biscuits, a tinge of honey and shades of woody hops. Sweet flavour with a light level of bitterness, medium to light bodied with a pleasantly soft carbonated mouthfeel. Sweet and slightly biscuity cara-malt-character with subtle honey-fruity notes; sweet and mildly bitter finish with delicately herbal and woody hops. 16.IV.11
