Draft sample @ TCBW ’16. Dorée, fin blanc. Arôme au bouquet plaisant offrant un avantageux bouquet de vin rouge dont les effluves tendent un peu sur l’aigrelet. Le côté barrique marque certainement la différence d’une bière qui sans cela aurait été banale. Palais est excellent, ici encore relevé par le Merlot, triche? bref, le tout fonctionne bien offrant de bonnes notes de vin tout en cultivant l’effet d’aigreur qui reste modéré. Acidité est là avec une petite pointe abricot - brett?baies et de vanille - barrique? avec un fini virant sur la pomme.

Tap at TCBW2016. Opaque black color, small beige. Toasted, woody, a bit cellary aroma. Medium-bodied. Tannines from wine barrel, toastyness. A bit tartish even. Ok toastyness.

Tap at TCBW2016. Hazy orange color, huge white head. Slightly tart, white-wineous aroma. Light-bodied to medium-bodied. Tartish, white-wineous, green apple flavors, some alcohol. Dry white-wine it is.

Draught @ TCBW 2016. Pours orange with a small head. Aroma of oak, tart fruits and hints of sourness. Taste is sourish, oaky and woody with some tart fruitiness and lactic wheaty yeastiness. Finish is sourish, lactic and yeasty with some sweet oaky notes. Interesting.

On tap at TCBW 2016. Slightly hazy deep golden with a modest, white head. Fruity, funky and yeasty. Some sour red berries in the aroma. A bit unusual and difficult to pinpoint, but nice acidity. Strange, but still refreshing.

On tap at Garage beer. Pours black with beige head. Aroma of dark chocolate, coffee, some roasted notes. Tastes sweet and bitter, well balanced. Smooth mouth feel, medium bodied.
