75cl bottle from Petritegi's on-site shop. Pours a hazed pale yellow, fine natural carbonation. Balanced sour tang, not as cheesy as some, a little more refined but distinctly Basque with a good sharp fruit presence. Decent.

330ml bottle from Petritegi. Pours gold with a faint mist. Good vibrant wild basque profile.. really bright wild elements.. big tangy finish.. good stuff

250ml can from Petritegi, shared with Soph on Plage de Hendaye, France. Drunk from the can. Interesting sweet apple varieties, skin, hints of green apple and cantaloupe, moderate carbonation. Nice refresher.

Backlog October 2015. Slightly unclear pale golden body under a thin, fading white head. Mild aroma of acidic apple. Taste is fresh, acidic apple, tart. Medium body with dry, acidic aftertaste. Nice and refreshing cider.

Bottle picked up from the Sidra museum near San Sebastian. A light hazed bright yellow greenish colour pour with a fading white fizz. Aroma is semi sweet, clean juice, light bark, white sugars, white grape. Flavour is composed of tart, bitter apple, zesty crisp apple curd, pinch of acid clean tart apples. Palate is tart, zesty prickly carbonation. Good fun.

From barrel at the Sidra House. A hazed golden coloured pour with a fading white froth. Aroma is tart and funky, lemon, tart, earthy bark, some alcohol on the nose. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, tart, prickly tart apple, dry woody finish, mellow funk. Palate is tart and tangy, mellow moderate carbonation.
