Hazy ochre with a lasting, small, white head. Aroma of flowery hops, grapefruit, citrus, orange, bit of yeast, green grass. Tastes light citric sour and medium to heavy hoppy bitter; very bitter, dry, grassy finish. Medium body, slick texture, fizzy carbonation. One for the aficionados.

Fles gedeeld met PatrickdJ. Het is een oranje geel bier met een dunne schuimkraag. Het heeft een hoppige geur. De smaak is hoppig en bitter.

Bottle. Aroma of yeast, red fruit and dark malt. Taste has lots of licorice, red fruit, malt, caramel and some more licorice. Technically, it's good, but the licorice/laurel is too dominant for me.

Flaska från belgiuminabox som just passerat BBD. Gyllengul, klar men med fint sediment, medelhöft vitt skum. Doft av hö, gräs, örter, brett, citronzest. Krispig och brettig, tänker på XX-bitter men det här är lite brettigare och kanske inte riktigt lika elegant utan lite jordigare. Men gott och uppfriskande och skön stramhet i beskan.

6 3 7 3 13 Draft at Billie's Craft Beer Fest '17. Near clear amber with a small off white head. Aroma of malt, caramel, toffee and ripe fruits. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Bottle at home. Hazy light golden with big white head. Light flowery up front, but also lemon peel, soft grapefruit, star fruit, green apple. Light spicy yeast and soft pils malts. It has some good Belgian IPA characteristics, but there’s also a light metallic finish with weird creamy grape skin if that makes any sense. Medium sweet, bitter and bodied. Quite present carbonation but with tiny bubbles. Overall not bad.

33 cl bottle. Pours hazy dark brown to black. Small brown head. Aroma is peated and dark malty. Dry, sourish. Wooden. Peated. Slight herbal. Mild citric and peated. Dry. Citric and peated finish. Rather simplistic.

Flesje thuis gedronken. Zwart bier met beige schuim. Aroma van gebrande mout. Smaak is eerst zoet en moutig, later komt de koffieachtige smaak met een lichte bitterheid. Ook de nasmaak is iets bitter.
