Bottle at home. Aroma is malt, caramel, chocolate, cocoa powder, oak, raisins, touch of mocha, hint of whiskey in the finish. Flavour is medium sweet with a little bitterness in the finish. Body is medium. Only slightly boozy considering the hefty abv. The whiskey is subtle in this beer, it’s the chocolate that makes this Quad shine.

Bottle at home. Aroma is grassy hops, spicy yeast, fruity notes, light citrus, some floral and herbal notes. Flavour is lighly sweet with a surprisingly bitter finish. Body is medium. Very nice Belgian IPA, refreshing, yeasty, herbal-ish and bitter. Just what I expect from the style.

Bottled. Hazy deep amber colour with a small foamy white head, which still leaves some lace. Aroma is dried fruits, some spiciness, mild alcohol and some dates. Flavour is dates, digs, some toffee and mild spiciness to it as well as some sweet malts.

Bottled. Hazy yellowish golden colour with a small white foamy head, which leaves some lace. Aroma is grass, some sweet malts, herbs, citrus and some spicy yeast. Flavour is fruity, floral, some toffee and mild citrusy and some spicy yeast to it.

Sampled @ Zythos Beer Festival 2022. A clear orange brown beer. Aroma of dark fruits, raisins and plums. Taste of strong dark red fruits, raisins, plums.

Zythos 2022. Very dark brown with thin head. Aroma is quite roasty, especially with coffee. Coffee is prominent in the flavour too next to some sweeter banana esters. Luckily the coconut is barely detectable.
