Hazy gold beer, tidy white head. Palate is airy and mildly dry, decent carbonation. Fluffy malts bring a light creamy sweetness. Mildly bitter mid. Touch of yellow grapefruit. some orange underneath. Mild hop spice. Light finish. Tidy if nothing special.

Very dark brown pour, clear-ish, with a lively, quad-style head that settles into a nice 1cm velvety tan head. Notes of caramel, dried fruit, whiskey, mouldy oak barrel, wood, rotten apples, light nail polish remover, a bit of chocolate, cola. Medium to full body, medium carbonation and a sweet finish. The oak barrel-ageing is quite present, the whiskey subtle.

Draft glass @ Beerlovers Bar. Dark red brown amber, tanned head. Nose is overripe dark fruit, BE nasty soap. Taste is BE unpleasant leaves, soap, bread, raisin, bit chemical, not getting the nuts clearly. Body is BE messy soap, grainy, leaves, low chemical. Messy & subpar Belgian. Even if I do get the need for mainstream appeal, this one is disappoint compared to their other stuff for me.
