Description
Beavertown was founded in 2011 by Logan Plant, the son of Robert Plant, singer with Led Zeppelin. At first established as a brewpub in De Beauvoir Town, East London as part art of the Duke's Brew and Que experience. Expanding means moving! In 2012 to Hackney Wick and in 2014 to Tottenham Hale.
In June 2018, it was announced that Heineken would be buying a minority stake, so that Beavertown could spend £40 million on a new brewery and visitor site. The new brewery was launched in 2020, with a capacity of 500,000 hectolitres, a ten-fold increase in their previous capacity.
As of 7 September 2022 Heineken has taken complete control of Beavertown and now has 100 per cent ownership. Founder Logan Plant will stay on as an adviser.

Light citrus fruity with notes of lemon, straw, grass, lemon peel, light sweetish doughy malty, faint delicate hoppy, not bad but much better AF IPAs out there.

[44cl can from Sainsburys, Manchester Piccadilly.] A cloudy amber pour with a fast fading white head; tropical fruit aroma; thin in the mouth with a diluted pineapple and tropical fruit squash taste to start, then some pithy grapefruit adding freshness and bitterness; before a long fruity bitter finish. Disappointing.

Draught @ Fox and Hounds, Sønderborg. Pours hazy straw with stable white head. Clear aroma of yeast and malt, with hoppy and fruity touches. Bitter, hoppy and citric flavour with sweetish, frauity and malty notes and touches of yeast. Estery and citric aftertaste with malty and hoppy touches. Satiating, tasty, and well-balanced. Good work, Beavertown!

Can at home in Hackney - picked up from a local office. Pours clear brown with a foamy, tan head. Lightly sweet with soft roast, ash, mellow cocoa, toasted pine. Light bodied with average carbonation. Nicely balanced finish, more toasted pine, a little citrus, tangerine, earth, ashy roast. Sound.
