Description
Beavertown was founded in 2011 by Logan Plant, the son of Robert Plant, singer with Led Zeppelin. At first established as a brewpub in De Beauvoir Town, East London as part art of the Duke's Brew and Que experience. Expanding means moving! In 2012 to Hackney Wick and in 2014 to Tottenham Hale.

In June 2018, it was announced that Heineken would be buying a minority stake, so that Beavertown could spend £40 million on a new brewery and visitor site. The new brewery was launched in 2020, with a capacity of 500,000 hectolitres, a ten-fold increase in their previous capacity.

As of 7 September 2022 Heineken has taken complete control of Beavertown and now has 100 per cent ownership. Founder Logan Plant will stay on as an adviser.

Beavertown Cans Night In With The Football Beer#2 of 2. Substitution made at half time and this one is a better performer than its sister berry beer in this series. Pinkish-orange in colour, softer in texture, with its fruit a more subtle choice when compared to the Berry Punch version. It's a sweet fruit beer. Mid-table mediocrity here.

Beavertown Cans Night In With The Football Beer#1 of 2. The first half action is this clear pale red berry based brew, not a high scorer in the field of play, with a few sweet touches, but the raspberry hits the post for me. It's not quite at overbearing levels but not too appealing either. I'm happy this one will be substituted for another at half time.

Coming from Amstein, opening this can yesterday with Mariela and Karina. A solid and classical ipa, malty, smooth and dry, aromatic and resinious hop, floral, well balanced and subtle ipa, refreshing, 12.02.22

On thursday, at home, after a day spent with the children. A good surprise and another world than some industrial beers on the same style. This brewery is industrial but the quality is ok, juicy, fruity with a note of strawberry, malt, hop, 19.03.22

Well and drinkable. Lean and fairly dry. Pleasant pithy-citrusy hop character. Well balanced. Tidy and highly drinkable.

Can. Clear orange/amber with a proper but short-lived white head. Aroma of lemons and watermelons. Taste of watermelons, salt, grains and lemons. Tart, tangy and sweet. Medium carbonation. Surprisingly enjoyable.

Can, gift from Mum. Pink body with a light haze and a thin off-white head. Low carbonation. No lacing. Aroma of cherry and blueberries. Flavour of tonic water and strawberry. Thin body with a slick mouthfeel. Soft fizz. An interesting and unusual fruit beer.
