Keg at Joe’s Beerhouse, Windhoek. It pours clear golden with a decent white head. Decent retention. The aroma is fresh, clean, fairly restrained, bit of white bread and toasty grain. The taste is crisp, clean, slightly creamy, soda water, straw, grass and a hint of spice. Finish is kind of dry. Light - medium body, moderate carbonation and foamy mouth - feel. Clean it is, but lacks any sort of depth. No faults, just not a whole lot it. Sort of the lager version of Tesco value bitter. Palate cleanser.

Shared 33cl bottle, thanks to hauxe. Pours clear pale straw with a small white head. Aroma of grains, honey and apple juice. Taste is grains, apple juice, honey, and cardboard with metallic notes. Watery finish.

Bottle at THT. Clear light golden with small white head. Cardboard, nasty herbs, lots of mineral water and dust. Light sweet and bitter. Light bodied. Meh.

THT May at Kwartje. Pale straw with no head. Grassy and bean boilwater. Is there grasshoppers in this? Medium sweet and light bitter. Medium body.
