Angeblich wurde siese Bier einmal zum besten Bier Afrikas gewählt. Was das zu bedeuten hat, weiß ich nicht. Es ist ein einfaches Helles, das man angenehm trinken kann. Aber kein wirklicher Unterschied zu den einfachen europäischen Hellen.

Bottle at Beerhouse in JoBurg. Clear amber color, small light tan head. Aroma of caramel bubblegum. Taste is extremely sweet caramel, subtle edge of pepper. Lots of residual sugar here.

Bright clear gold beer, thin pale cream colour head. Palate is light, fairly dry and has good carbonation. Thin malts but clear lager character. Traces of paper and corn but they are pretty mild. Some floralness and a forensic amount of hop. It’s reasonable.

Can from SuperU Mauritius. Pours straw yellow. Quite clean aroma of bread, citrus and a little vegetables. Drinkable, sweet, bitter and some metal.

Taste: very oxidized, card board, bit sourish, caramel, bit spicy, lots of oxidation. Aftertaste: bit spicy, oxidized, little bitter, caramel, sugary.
