22/8/2018. Bottle from The Savanna, Liverpool Street Station. Golden colour with a white head. Aroma of sweet corn, malt and grass. Medium plus sweetness, light bitterness. Moderate body, oily texture, average carbonation. Not so bad.

Bottle split at the pre GBBF Shindig '18, thanks, 04/08/14. Clear pale golden blonde with a decent off white head. Nose is pale malts, straw, grains, vague citric notes. Taste comprises dusty straw, grains, corn, pale malts, cereals. Medium bodied, fine ccarbonation, semi drying close. Best Namibian beer of the day !

330ml bottle from South African quarter, Saint Nicholas market, Bristol. Drunk watching Gerald's Game. Pours pale gold, small persistent white head. Aroma presents noticeably sweet malt. Taste is light, sweet malt, soft grain, light bitterness, drying close. No off flavours. Harmless enough.

Bottle shared at Chris and Ruth shindig 04/08/2018. Many thanks. A clear yellow straw coloured pour with no head. Aroma is papery. Peppery, dirty grains. Flavour is composed semi sweet. Dull simple grains, rice,. Palate is semi sweet thin, grains, moderate carbonation. Pretty bad.

Optisch Gold, schöne Perlung, in der Nase garnicht so verkehrt für die Qualitätsklasse. Im Trunk Malz, süß hinten üblich wässrig, dabei aber nicht plädderich. Durchaus trinkbar, für ein Pale Lager nahezu gut.
