Bottle split at LKS, thanks to Danny, 03/09/15. Hazed golden with a moderate off White covering. Nose is apricot jam, light yeast, grassy, punchy tropical notes. Taste comprises tangerine, straw, bitter orange, apricot, light bread dough. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a juicy hop wash. Decent hoppy weisse.

Keg. Leeds International Beer Festival. Clear gold. Thin, dense, lasting, white head. Very juicy. Pineapple. Strawberry. Pink grapefruit. Taste is chewy, pithy bitter. Big malt presence. Lots of lip stickiness. Super drinkable. Long, pithy bitter finish, with a ligh dry close. Probably my brewery of this festival.

Keg. Leeds International Beer Festival. Murky, dark gold. Thin, dense, sticky, white head. Fresh, wheaty, grainy malts. Hops are a little dank. Some vinous notes. Gooseberry. Peach. Light flora. Taste is soft, creamy sweet. Turns punchy, zesty, pithy bitter. Smooth, foamy mouthfeel. Tangy fresh, bitter finish.

Keg. Leeds International Beer Festival. Clear, copper colour. Rocky, sticky, lasting, white head. Big, juicy, spicy, fruity orange hop. Fruity, toffee malts. Smells fantastic. Exactly how I’d expect a red ale to smell like. Taste is juicy bitter. Spicy dryness in there. Fresh, lively mouthfeel. Finishes light, spicy bitter, with a light dry close. Nice one.

Hazy paleish gold beer, tidy pale cream colour head. Palate is light and has a fine minerally crispness. Thin seltzer and light lemon zest. Mild floralness. Light finish. Enough flavour to avoid the ’fresh air beer’ trap but it is very light nontheless.

Lightly hazy paleish gold beer, good pale cream colour head. Palate is light and minerally crisp. Light malts bring mild creamy sweetness. Hops are nicely bitter yellow grapefruit with a trace of orange. Minerals. Light finish. Not getting the cream ale vibe here, whatever that is even! But it’s a refreshing beer.

Bottle from We Brought Beer, Balham, London - golden coloured pour with white head. Aroma and taste is a plethora of tropical and citrus fruits, some juicy satsuma, grapefruit and peach, with pine needles, some caramel sweetness creeping in to balance out the assertive bitterness here, nice hoppy bitter finish. Good brew.

Bottle share at Mr Smith’s Stratoflat. Thanks to Dan. Hazy gold beer, decent pale cream colour head. Palate is airy and semi dry. Decent fine carbonation. Nice orange and orange pith. Light touch of tinned mango. Mild floral lemon. Light semi dry finish brings a trace of vanilla cream. Nice!
