Bottle. TallBoys, Leeds. Hazy, dark orange. Lots of foamy, messy, white head. Big, peppery, grapefruit pith. Orange rind. Toasty, toffee sweet malts. Hints of strawberry. Beautifully fresh, and the right side of herby and floral. Taste is clean, crisp, mineral bitter. Crisp, sharp palate. Long, zesty, pithy bitter finish. Other than on the nose there’s not a lot of sweetness in here, but it’s plenty punchy. I could drink a lot of this.

33cl bottle from Beer52.com. A slightly hazy straw colour with a dense white head; fresh grapefruit aroma; zingy grapefruit taste; and a mellow finish. A rather good Session IPA.

330ml bottle from Ales by Mail, and a bit past its best before date at that! Pours hazy amber gold, thick white head. Strong resin and pine aromas, caramel too, light sherbet. Taste is sweet up front, bitter resinous hops at the back, pithy at the end. Sticky texture spoils it a bit for me.

Cask at the Hanging Bat. Pours amber with a thin white head. Aromas of citrus, menthol, pine. Taste is orange, pine. Oily texture. Bitter finish.

330ml bottle from Ales by Mail. Pours hazy golden amber with a long-lasting bubbly white head. Aromas of pine, spice, faint yeast. Taste is bitter, more like an ipa than a wheat beer. Dry finish. Prickly carbonation.

Bottle. Hop Hideout, Sheffield. Cloudy, pale orange. A few messy bubbles of white head. Sweet, chewy, banana toffee malts. Fruity, peachy, ripe orange hop. Bit of creamed coconut to it. If I didn’t know otherwise, I’d have said there’s Sorachi in this. Anyhow, taste is pithy, punchy bitter. Soft, creamy sweetness. Turns pretty dry. Smooth palate. Finishes crisp, clean bitter, with that creamy sweetness hanging on.

Bottle. Hop Hideout, Sheffield. Pale, orange gold. Light haze. Messy, bubbly, white head. Fresh, pungent, citric hop. Grainy malts. Light minerality. Soft herb. Taste is light, pithy bitter. Grainy sweetness. Very clean, zingy palate. Finishes long, light, grapefruit pith bitter. Not doing much wrong this brewery. Very nice.

Cask @ The Lawn Club, Manchester. Golden with a thin head. Balanced ale with a more malty taste and aftertaste. Strong but not overbearing. Fairly easy-drinking for its strength. Some fruits are here.

Cask at the farmers boy St Albans. Nice yellow / straw coloured pour with a lasting white frothy head. Aroma is nice floral pollen hop straw and some mango tropical fruit hop. Flavour is composed of light grainy malts, light straw, earthy citrus, pollen and some spicy citrus rind. Assertive hop bitterness is maybe a little too much. Palate is light and somewhat refreshing, great cask co edition. Good cask session.
