Bottle. Curious Hop, Otley. Cloudy orange. Swirl of white. Get the oily orange hop first. Bready, sweet banana. Chewy toffee wheat. Taste is well balanced bittersweet. Soft, oily texture. Finishes long bitter, with a bit of wheaty sweetness hanging on. Very drinkable. Liked this a lot.

330ml bottle, take-out from Birmingham Beer Bash 2015. Pours amber. Taste is a bit leafy and cobwebby. Startlingly so, considering the high standard of Cloudwater beers I’ve had so far and rather unpleasant to drink, lacking the caramel sweetness I was expecting. Disappointing.

Keg at the Lyric, Soho, 06/08/15. Clear light golden blonde with a decent white cap. Nose is pale malt, bread, melon. Taste comprises mellow fruit, bread, melon, light caramel, vanilla. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, sweet but we’ll tempered close ok for style.

330ml bottle. Slightly cloudy, golden colour with small to average, thick, creamy, fairly lasting, moderately lacing, white head. Citrusy fruity, slightly piney hoppy aroma, notes of orange, mandarine, lemon, cheesy, yeasty hints of gorgonzola. Taste is moderately sweet, citrusy fruity hoppy, notes of orange, mandarine, lemon, sweetness is somehow fruity, more sugary than (caramel) malty, dry, slightly mineral hop bitterness; long lasting bitter finish. Very nice, quasi neutral, fruit-supporting sweetness.
