Draught keg at the Real Ale Classroom, Leicester city centre. Light golden and hazy with a thin whitish head. Sour and yeasty aroma with lemon, orange peel, sourdough, touch of clove, some rupe banana, i am not getting the mango. It's got an incredibly sweet taste for the style, although this is refreshing on a summer day. Candy sugar and boiled sweet, more lemon. Fades fairly quickly. Lighter body with heavy carbonation. Cloudwater have added their own twist to a classic style.

Can. Nose is pineapple, hings of mango, lots of peach, hint of citrus. Taste is coconut, peach, hint of apricot, the promised melon, a little lime juice, then a touch of coconut in the the resin finish.

I am not the biggest fan of Sabro, but this works well and enjoyed it.

Can. A light haze on this gold beer, a good pale cream colour head. Airy smooth palate, decent fine carbonation. Soft pale malts, a pleasant light creamy sweetness. Right then, Citra with sparklers up its arse, what is the end result? That would be pretty fucken good then! Fairly bright juicy orange - mandarin - tangerine, soft pine, light and slightly sweet mango. Best of all, for me the ultimate indicator of good Citra, a nice pink grapefruit vibe on the end. Smooth finish leaves a lovely tangy citric linger. As good as Citra as I can recall since near 2 decades ago. Superb.

Can at home, from HOTM online, 27/06/2026.
Moderately hazed golden orange topped with a lasting off white head.
Nose is ripe tropical fruit esters, grass, lime zest, mandarin.
Taste comprises lychee, sharp tropicana, lime, papaya, grass.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spliced with juicy come lightly resinous hop bitterness.
Okay IPA but a little disjointed for me ... a touch too tangy.
