Bottle. Orange with a white head. Aroma of lemon and weeds, slight boiled vegies. Light bodied, but not really watery - feels like it has slightly more body than Fat Yak. Bland boiled lolly sweetness, low to moderate bitterness with very slight citrus and blackcurrant. Leans enough towards dry at the end. A bit better than expected but fairly dull.

345ml bottle into schooner glass. Floral hop nose, a little malt. Golden amber beer with solid lasting white head. Medium carbonation. Flat oily texture. Clean fruity hop finish. Refreshing. Good session beer.

345ml bottle into schooner glass. Nose is skunky, rotten egg, sewer, burnt rubber, not good. Golden amber beer with thin lasting white head, medium carbonation. Spritzy chalky mouthfeel. Unfortunately tastes like standard CUB lager with a touch of floral hops. Finish is better with citric hop bitterness over a bit of malt. But right at the end a vegetal note remains. I didn’t like this very much, not to be repeated.

Bottle, bb 9/15. Gold with a white head that lasts OK. Aroma of cardboard, honey, some lemon, very light tropical touches. Tired cardboardy malt, some spices, dull bitterness. Depressing.

A golden ale with a thick frothy lacing off white head. In aroma, grassy malt with light grassy hops, herbaceous character, so-so. In mouth, a sweet fruity malt with light grassy hops, light mineral notes, watery and boring. Bottle from Au Bon MarchΓ©.

Aroma is more stale bread than normal weizen aromas. I would classify this as either a kristallweizen or what ale, its a far cry from a real German weizen. Taste is flat and bland, no bananas, clove or bubblegum to be had. This might have scored better as a wheat ale, but was marked way down compared to German hefes.
