330ml bottle [as ZHB Londen Tripel, 8.4% abv]. Cloudy, amber colour with small, creamy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Phenolic, yeasty fruity and wheaty malty aroma, hints of dried fruit, apple, raisin; slight muesli character overall. Taste is sweet-ish, malty, wheaty malty, slightly yeasty fruity, hints of apple, dried apple, raisin, a minimally phenolic touch. Oily texture, smooth and soft palate, fine, soft to flat carbonation. Too phenolic, rather monotonous - insufficient.

Clear amber with a white head. Strange sweet malty aroma reminding me a bit of dish soap. Sweet taste with a horrible sweet finish. Clearly something is not right here. Maybe the worst tripel I've ever had.

Dark amber with an off-white head. Malty hoppy aroma with a slightly oxidized touch. Sweet taste with a sweet low-bitter finish.

33 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ van Rooij, Culemborg. Light hazy amber with a white head. Malty caramel and some peachy hopiness. Sweet taste with a soft leathery finish. More malt forward than hops forward but pleasant nontheless.

Dark brown with light tan head. Roasted malts, light salmiak, rye, grainy, nutty. Sweet and bitter. Bittersweet. Unfiltered feel, with hearty umami finish. Quite alright.

Bottle shared thanks to sjogro. Clear deep mahogany with big dark beige head. Roasted, sweet caramel, very earthy, cardboard, swimming pool, figs. Over medium sweet and quite bitter. Over medium bodied with oily feel.

Fles thuis geprobeerd met LiekevdV. Het is een diep donkerbruin bier met een rode gloed en heeft een dun beige schuim. Het aroma is moutig, kruidig en wat zoet. De smaak is moutig, caramelachtig en wat kruidig.
