Cask at Merton Beer Festival 28th February & 1st March 2014 Pours light/mid gold with white head. The citra hops are not really making a huge impression on me, ok its citrussy but hoppiness is quite subdued, As Ian noted this is very easy drinking for the abv, this was the strongest beer but this actually tasted really quite thin when compared to a similar strength beer such as the Brew Wharf In the Meantime. I didn’t mind this but I think Leadmill and Bottle Brook come across much better at The Old Oak, Horsley Woodhouse. A6 A3 T7 P3 Ov13 3.2

Cask at The Old Oak, Horsley Woodhouse, Derbyshire on dads 65th birthday Thursday 26th December 2013 This is very much as expected i.e. a copper ESB, however it is a notch above many of the other ESB’s in this bracket and actually tastes very decent. Fruity with a good bite, malty on the nose with a little hops showing and a bit of fruit. In the mouth there is a nice hoppiness to counter what otherwise could have been an all too malty brown beer. Its good. A6 A4 T7 P3 Ov14 3.4

Cask, gravity at Merton Winter Beer Festival, 17th & 18th February 2012 Pours gold in colour, white head, slight haze to this. Really orangey, tangerines and, clementines. There is just loads of sweet orangey type citrus fruits in here, very nice, though in the mouth it is just a little flatish and needed a little more zesty oomph, alcohol shows a little, but a nice beer overall.
