Pisgah Brewing Co. contains several different components, including the brewery, taproom.

The Taproom boasts a wall with a selection of different taps! The garage doors stay open when it's warm, and a crackling fire is almost always being lit once the sun goes down. There are picnic tables outside and seats around the bar to enjoy the music and company in comfort.

Featured art spans the lengths of the taproom wall. The gallery space is reserved for local artists and the pieces are displayed for several weeks...

In addition to brewing delicious, organic beer, Pisgah Brewing also brings you a multitude of artists who perform inside our taproom and out on our new stage in the field.

Handcrafted carpentry and is utilized for many live concerts and special outdoor events! The stage area has a trickling stream under a bridge near the parking lot, as well as horseshoe pits and a picnic table.

Black with a lasting tan head. Aroma of licorice, spice, dark chocolate and ash-y roast malt. Rich flavour of dark chocolate, licorice, dried fruits and caramelized sugar. The coffee doesn’t seem to get in the way of a well composed strong stout

Growler shared by Maltzilla. Pours orange color with off white head. Aromas of pine and citrus. Similar flavors with some toffee and caramel. Medium body with average carbonation. Thanks Diego.

Sweet 100th rater Bottle Thanks to inflatablehair Pours out a sunset orange topped with a creamy white head. Aroma was of toasted malts, light fruit, belg yeast, and some spice. Taste was much as the aroma with a good yeast and malt combo. There is also a good balance of fruit sweetness and heat to make this beer enjoyable.

750ml bottle pours a hazy, yellowish orange with a creamy white head. Nose is yeasty, candy sugar, light spice, light pepper. Flavor is metallic, like a zinc lozenge, yeast, candy sugar, banana, spice. Full bodied and dry.

6th June 2010. RBESG 10 Grand Tasting at the Brasserie 4:20 Warehouse. Very dark brown beer. Frothy tan head. Smooth dry palate. Nice mix of dark chocolate and coffee. Finishes a little dry. Not the most sumptuos coffee stout ever but a pretty decent beer.

Bottle at RBESG Rome Grand Tasting. Black colour, light brown head. Aroma of coffee, hard roasted malts, chocolate. Flavour is sweet, chocolate, nice coffee, hard roasted malts, light fruity, good coffee bitter finish. Medium bodied. Lovely coffee stout.

Bottle at PilsnerPeter’s RBSG 2010. Black with a tan head. Nose is chocolate, molasses and dark fruit. Taste is prunes and chocolate.

Bottle thanks to thirdeye11. 2007 Bottle with a best before of 12/2019. Pours with a small white head and a hazy golden body. Aroma is sweet, honey, biscuit, apple, cinnamon. Floral. Taste is sweet, pear, honey, biscuit. Some very light alcohol. Lively bubbles. Aging well.

22 ounce bottle from Greenlife Grocery in Asheville, NC. Pours a dark brown color with a large tan head. Good head retention and decent lacing. Aroma of chocolate, roasted malts, caramel and a bit of a hoppy finish. The taste is leafy hops, chocolate and a roasty slightly grainy finish. Medium bodied. Decent beer.
