Draft at the brewery taproom during RBWG 2014. Pours clear, rich orange-gold with a foamy, mostly white head. A fairly dank and resinous DIPA, with ample ripe and chewy citrus fruits, orange, some bready sugars. Medium to full bodied with average carbonation. Resinous and warming in the finish, with more juicy, chewy citrus fruits. Not bad overall.

Draft at the brewery taproom during RBWG 2014. Pours deep brown with a frothy, beige cap. A very decent, very tasty overall porter. Mellow chocolate notes, present roasty character, enough bitterness. Light to medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Nice balance in the finish, with a bit of bittersweet chocolate. Good one.

Pour is a hazy golden with a large white head. Aroma is a slight citrus and tropical fruit. The hop aromas are there but nothing over the top. Flavor is some pineapple and a big hit of bitterness. Again nothing stands out, it’s just kind a dull hop flavor. Finish is more bitterness and a clean finish. Kind of a basic no frills IPA.

Shaker pint draft at Intermezzo in Charlotte, North Carolina. The pour is a hazed orange copper with a ½ inch light tan head. The aroma is orange and grapefruit citrus, a bit of citrus peel and toasted grain malt. The taste is a nice blend of the softly bitter citrus and the toasted cracker malt. Clean and fresh. The palate is medium to light bodied with active carbonation and a dry mildly bitter finish. Nice Pale Ale.
