Description
Inspired by local brewing traditions and the vibrant US craft beer scene, Magic Rock Brewing is the culmination of a lifelong passion for beer. Richard Burhouse (aided by head brewer Stuart Ross) started the brewery in 2011 in an old out-building of the family business in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire.
Alongside a distinctive core range we produce an ever changing line up of idiosyncratic beers with an innovative quality driven approach. Our ‘Same but Different’ beers are packed with intense yet approachable flavours which will challenge and inspire, but above all remain balanced and drinkable.

In 2022 Lion breweries have sold Magic Rock to Odyssey Inns.

I forget how good this brewery can be. Final clear out before the December frontal assault and I can't believe I've never rated this. Used to love it and buy loads. This is a rich and gently bitter proper ipa in the English style. None of your sweet fruit here, apart from perhaps a deep and rich note of plums. Slightly stewed. Lovely

A solid white head on an unfiltered amber body. Nose features sharp grapefruit and a touch of pepper. The taste profile backs off the nose a touch, but grapefruit, lemon and orange notes lead the way.

A white head on a hazy straw body. Nose is floral and tropical hops. Understated taste profile featuring grapefruit and tropical notes, grapes and very soft sweet biscuit malt. Subtle notes of melon and tangerine blend well. Gear back and enjoy a subtle IPA for a change

Significant American hops up front featuring grapefruit, lemon, mango and grassiness. Sub-flavours of Ear Grey tea with floral softness set off a wonderful taste profile in a low-ABV pale ale. well done!

Kolor żółty, silnie opalizujący. Piana biała, drobno pęcherzykowa, wysoka i trwała, ładnie oblepia szkło.
Aromat chmielowy, świeży, soczysty, owocowy (cytrusy). Jest intensywny, mocny.
W smaku, grapefruitowa goryczka, ustępuje, ale nieznacznie, pola słodowej słodyczy. Mimo wszystko smak z wytrawnym finiszem.
Wysycenie wysokie. Ciało średnie plus. Tekstura płynu jest gładka. Posmak długi wytrawny, grapefruitowy.
