A dense, well laced white head on a thin yellow body. Nose is subtle, with herbal and slightly sour fruit notes. A tart, biting sour fruit base with bready malt, some spice, and hints of green apple and melon. balancing hops add to a very refreshing tasty sour IPA.

A thin white head on a deep brown body. The nose hits a unique balance - sour red berries, oak and Brett yeast. More of the same in the taste profile. Touches of coffee and chocolate are nicely counterbalance by the sour and acidic elements. A lovely creation. Who would have known?

this is about as high as I can go on a Scotch ale these days. Slightly slick and sticky body, but in line with the booze and the style. Taste features slightly roasted malt, maple, a touch of woodiness and some spice. A hint of rye helps balance the inevitable sweetness. A nice sipper.

A red of a different colour, this one. A dense off-white head with strong sustained lacing. A slightly murky Amber/mahogany body. The nose is a gentle blend of malt, earth-based herbs and a slight fruity accent. Ground nuts are a lead element in the taste in balance roasted sweet malt, a touch of citrus and some rye-like spice. Hints of dark berries as the taste settles. A medium body with a slight slickness to it. This is a red that resists the tendency towards over sweetness. About the best of the style around

A clear straw body with a fizzy, short-lived white head. The nose is punchy lime with lemon. The really zesty lime lead continues to the taste profile with soapiness, herbs and lemon adding to the kick, which is significant for a 4.3 abv beer. I like it, but the lime is way out there

Pours a deep amber with a thin white head. A medium intensity nose features citrus fruit, pine and tropical fruit. A big, well blended imperial. grapefruit rind, melons, kiwi, orange and lemon all make an appearance in the hop profile. A honey sweetness and grainy malt round it off nicely. Solid density and a slightly slick mouth feel.

A full, well laced light tan head on a chocolate brown body. The nose features grassy hops, roasted malt and a touch of chocolate. A very nicely balanced take on the black IPA. Prominent citrus and grassy hops with edgy roasted malt. Not to sweet but with solid caramel hints. Solid coffee and hops in the finish. Medium mouth feel and density with appropriate carbonation.

Big, complex and well crafted. A dense off-white head on a mahogany body. The nose is sumptuous, featuring sweet caramel malt, spice, citrus and tropical fruit, and a fruity tartness. The taste is predictably complex and layered. Dense Caramel and toffee tasting malts, dark fruit, candied fruit, plums, classic spices and a solid element of Belgian yeast (with a slight bubblegum note) add to the blend. Sweet but tart, dense and slick, this is another DDC classic.

A big, dense, well laced white head on an amber/straw body. the nose features Belgian yeast, spice and sweet malt. The apricots are there, but not that pronounced. Banana esters, some earthy hop astringency, orange and lemon are fairly standard Belgian ale fare. There is a slightly sour aftertaste that I am not that fond of.

A well laced thin white head on a thin golden body. A strong pleasant nose features banana, cloves and sweet malt. Sweet malt, wheat, banana from the yeast, cloves, coriander, and nutmeg create a lovely spiced Belgian taste profile. Touches of orange and kiwi, a dry finish and solid carbonation create a really refreshing, well crafted Wit.
