On September 1998, Dieu Du Ciel! finally opens its doors, with more than 300 people in attendance. Today, Dieu Du Ciel! is engaged more than ever in the local community as the demand for its products continues to rise both at home and abroad.
In 2015, the microbrewery in St-Jerome increased capacity from 9000 to 13000 hectoliters annually, in an effort to better satisfy a growing band of faithful converts.

On tap at Dieu du Ciel - Montréal. Pours a slightly hazy golden blonde with a white head. Sharp pine, resins, and grapefruit on the nose. Flavour has plenty of bitter pine, resins, and grapefruit peels. Good malt base. The hos are aggressive and the malts support it; this is an excellent IPA.

On tap at Dieu du Ciel - Montréal. Pours a clear dull reddish. Tart berries and wheat on the nose. Flavour has a dry wheat malt base with a very pleasant cherry character: slightly tart, very light tannins, and good cherry expression. Very nicely done.

On tap at Dieu du Ciel. Pours a deep amber brown with a beige head. Bready malts and brown sugar on the nose. Flavour has a bready/oatmeal malt character with plenty of brown sugar, and tangible booze. I think the malt profile should be a bit drier, but this does drink well.

During Threefold 1st Anniversary party while hanging out with Peter (thx for the beer, man!) and Phill.
Aroma: a lot of coffee, some sweetness, smells more like a cold brew with no green peppers (yay!). Some rum is here, but very subtle.
Taste: along the same lines, loads of coffee, moderately sweet. Feels like it has a bit more body than Peche Mortle usually have.
Overall: enjoyable.

De délicats accents de pain frais en équilibre avec un environnement herbacé constant soutiennent une palette olfactive simple mais puissante.
Une mousse moyennement épaisse sur le liquide doré et parfaitement limpide s’attarde assez longtemps.
Une entrée en bouche aux saveurs de pain frais suivie d’une longue puissante amertume herbacée, terreuse et subtilement épicée.
Les malts sont très subtilement miellés.
Aucun ester.
L’amertume est tranchante, âpre, et m’apparait excessive ; frisant même le métallique.
Elle demeure plusieurs minutes en fin de bouche.
Très sèche en bouche, son corps est moyennement léger et le tout provoque presque une sensation d’astringence par son amertume excessive.
Légère déception ici !

Can. Cloudy amber, a good cm of white head that lasts OK. Aroma of mango, citrus, some pine, peach, bread. Getting towards fumey; dry with some overt alcohol which also subdues the tropical and stone fruit. Citrus and pine come through towards the bitter finish. Pretty drinkable for its strength.
