Un ensemble torréfié enrobé d’alcool et présentant des arômes caramélisés, du chocolat noir et du café.
Un liquide noir et opaque.
Une mousse de couleur moka assez crémeuse et bien persistante.
En bouche, les éléments principaux de la bière de base ressortent amplement en entrée.
Café, chocolat, vanille sont dominants mais laissent passer des saveurs caramélisées, des fruits noirs mais très peu de notes issues de l’adjuvant pâtissier.
Le dulce de leche ne ressort que très partiellement.
Et, c’est dommage, je m’attendais à des notes plus sucrées, plus rondes.
On est ici plus sur la Péché Mortel de base avec une touche de l’adjuvant.

Can. Cloudy oranges amber with a large white head. Aroma of grapefruit, pear, some tropical fruit, crackers. Leanish with pithy citrus, under ripe tropical fruit before building resin that threatens to outmatch the crackery malt. Fairly bitter finish.

330ml bottle shared with and courtesy of Kermis. Poured almost black in colour with a mostly lasting frothy tan head. The aroma is roasty, coffee, liquorice. The flavour is moderate liquorice bitter and sweet, with a smooth, rich, roasty, earthy, mushroom, warm boozy bourbon, dry oaky, liquorice bitter palate. Over medium bodied soft carbonation.

Can: Poured a hazy/cloudy pale yellow color ale with a large white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of citrusy hoppy notes with some juicy floral hops undertones with some mango tropical notes and a semi-dry finale. Taste is also a good mix of citrusy hoppy notes with some juicy floral hops undertones with some mango notes and a semi-dry finish. Body is full for style with a creamy feel with good carbonation. Enjoyable NEIPA with tropical notes but a tad more attenuation would have been better.

Bottle: Poured a pitch-black color stout with a large brown foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of floral coffee notes with some semi-sweet chocolate notes with some warming whisky notes. Taste is also a mix of floral coffee notes with some semi-sweet chocolate notes with some warming whisky notes that rounds off any rough edges in this beer. Body is full for style with good carbonation with light warming alcohol notes. Really enjoyable coffee stout with great whisky notes.

Can. Nothing like that red pour with a tall and fizzy pink head! Aromas are all raspberry all the time. OK... maybe raspberry with a little wheat or some sort of graininess and a tart punch to the nose. Flavor is a wonderful punch of sour and raspberry that just shies back from bringing a tear to the eye but definitely gets the mouth watering. A little bit of a grainy finish, particularly after the last dregs pour out of the can (probably should have left them there.) This is my kind of beer!

A famous brewery from a country not so easy to catch in Switzerland and France. A solid imperial stout with all the qualities for your bed, aromas of coffee, dark chocolate, vanilla, boozy but it is subtle, explosion of aromas in the mouth, lovely, 02.04.21

Entrée de bouche chaleureuse avec le rhum bien senti, du café fort, du chocolat noir, du poivre, du caramel, de la mélasse et du bois.
L’équilibre des saveurs est bien respecté bien que le rhum ressorte un peu plus.
Une bière complexe, harmonieuse, chaleureuse, avec une bonne amertume de torréfaction.
Une grande bière avec le rhum qui rehausse le tout.
