Description
Our brewmaster Karl fermented his first cider as a young schoolboy, many years before he was of legal age to taste it. Since then, he has never stopped experimenting with all sorts of fruits and flavors. This passion for natural ingredients and the wonders of fermentation is shared by our team and is reflected in our range of innovative ciders.

Pours clear, bit darker yellow. Smell is a bit sweet, bit cleaning products. Taste is full, very soapy, tad lemon (tartness, almost) . not my thing at all.

Sampled at Horeca Expo 2019. Pours clear yellow, smell is mostly ginger. Honey gives it a bit of a creamy back. Taste is full, nicely carbonated. Rather dry. Ginger is there, but not overpowering. Honey is hidden. Nice.

Smell reminds me of Mirabelle not Rose Petal. Easy to drink.

0,33 flaske delt med skibsrederen under brygging av årets juleøl: uklar korngul med fint skum. Tydelig preg av agurker (både ferske og syltede) sammen med gule epler. Både forfriskende og interessant.

3/10/2019. Bottle sample courtesy of danlo, cheers Ed! Pours hazy pale yellow gold with a bubbly just off-white head. Aroma of pickled gherkins (which I'm quite partial to), plus light grassy, apple and floral notes. Very little gherkin in the taste, more semi-sweet apples with light tartness. Moderate body, slight oily texture, above average carbonation. Nice developing tartness. Not sure I'd seek it out again but as a one off I liked this.

330ml bottle from Ciderwinkel. Slightly hazy pale yellow gold colour, white foam head that retains and aroma of pickled gerkins. Taste is apple, fleshy along with sour pickled gerkin and cucumber flavours. Smooth foamy mouthfeel, light bodied, soft carbonation, dry sour finish. Interesting, quite drinkable.

Bottle. Color: Hazy orangish brown, thin light pink head. Aroma: Tart and sweet overripe apple, black currant. Taste: Overripe and slightly rotten apple, moderate to medium sweet, light to moderate tart, combined with pretty subtle notes of black currant. Moderate hopbitterness, although it seems like the hops are less present than in the Wild Tree Hoppy Cider. Pretty nice

Bottle. Color: Hazy pale golden, thin white head. Aroma: Moderate sweet and tart apple, hop. Taste: Moderate sweet and tart apple, combined with a nice moderate bitter floral and fruity hoppyness. Hints of lemon, grapefruit. Subtle funky notes. Nice balance between the apple and the hop. Very nice cider.

Bottle shared at home on the roof. Unclear pink-ish in the night, under string light. Sweet black currant and light sour fresh apple and pear. Light vegetal, grassy hopbitter. Quite sweet with a nice sour touch. Very lovely berry aroma. Medium body and soft carbonation.
