Keg at The Old Fashioned. Clear dark amber, large creamy tan head, good retention. Aroma of toffee, ginger, plum. Taste is spicy ginger, lemon, toffee, mild earth. Medium bodied, lingering bitterness.

Close to being good but actually just kind of so so. Aroma was grassy wet grain and something a little sour or putrid. Flavor’s bittersweet, with sweet more in the background, bitter dominant and a bit of diacetyl. Long bitter finish.

Keg at Whole Foods Wauwatosa. Clear golden, large foamy white head, good retention. Aroma of rye, citrus, pale malt. The taste is bitter citrus and rye, pale malt, grapefruit, lemon. Medium bodied.

Bottle: Dark, cloudy brown with a thick tan head. Raisin, caramel, dry grass scent. Taste is caramel malt, wood, raisin. Nice, slightly bitter malts.... Very good.

12oz bottle pours a dark gold with some clumpy, white head. Nose is gross, under attenuated honey, passion fruit, grapefruit juice. Flavor is flabby, honey, a little lemon-lime soda, non descript. Sweet finish.

12oz bottle pours a mostly clear gold with a ring of white head. Nose has orange, some tomato, passion fruit, hand soap. Flavor is boozy and spicy, some habanero, pink peppercorn, pine. Finishes a bit hot. What is this?
