Orangey-amber colour. Woody, citric, piney hop nose. Clear, deep, woody, earthy bitterness meshes with slighty toasty breadcrusty malts. Finish is long, dry, woody. I am seldom disappointed with a PNW IPA, this one no exception.

Bottle Pours a Jet Black with a tan creamy head and sticky lacing. Aroma is of dark pitted fruit, prunes plums molassas and smokey. Flavor is smokey and sour. Like vinegar. Don’t really notice the chocolate mentioned in previous ratings, but the coffee is there and some of the dark pitted fruit again. The body and feel is a bit thin and I was hoping for a bit more here.
