Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up at the brewery a few years back. Pours clear gold with a small, foamy white head. Lightly sweet with nips of white wine vinegar, some citric tartness, old wood, a little hay, mellow acidity, lemony bite. Light to medium bodied with spritzy carbonation. Quenching finish, lightly drying, some ripening lemon, more woody dryness, mild bitterness. Enjoyable.

330ml bottle. Pours near black, small beige head, nice retention. Aroma of roasted malts, chocolate, liquorice. Taste is semi-sweet, coffee, chocolate, liquorice, blackberries, resin, bitter finish which is dry and slightly smoky. A lovely complexity to this. Its backed up by a smooth moderate body and a soft carbonation. Top notch stuff.
